Data Deletion

How to remove Contzilla's access to your Meta accounts and delete your data.

Contzilla lets you disconnect at any time. There are two things you can delete: (a) our access to your Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts, and (b) your Contzilla account and all data associated with it.

In-product control: In Contzilla go to Settings → Connect social accounts and click Revoke access (all brands) in the Danger Zone. This is the single button that fully disconnects Contzilla from your Meta account.

1. Revoke Contzilla's access to Facebook & Instagram

Use the in-product control above, or revoke directly on Facebook. Either path has the same effect: Contzilla can no longer read from or publish to your accounts.

Option A — from Contzilla

  1. Sign in to Contzilla and open Settings → Connect social accounts.
  2. Scroll to the Danger Zone and click Revoke access (all brands).
  3. Confirm the prompt.

When you confirm, Contzilla will:

  • Call Meta's Graph API (DELETE /me/permissions) to revoke our app's access. The Contzilla app will disappear from your Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites list.
  • Delete every connected Facebook Page and Instagram Business account across all your brands.
  • Delete the long-lived user access token we stored for you.
  • Cancel any pending scheduled posts targeted at those accounts.

Option B — from Facebook

  1. Open Facebook and go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
  2. Find "Contzilla" in the list of active apps.
  3. Click "Remove" and confirm.

This immediately invalidates every access token we hold for your account, so Contzilla can no longer read your Page list or publish anything.

2. Delete your Contzilla account and all remaining data

Revoking Meta access only removes Meta-related data. To delete your Contzilla account and everything associated with it (profile, brands, uploaded assets, generated content, drafts, scheduled posts, billing records), email us:

  • Email: privacy@contzilla.app
  • Subject: Account deletion request
  • Send from: the email address on your Contzilla account

We process account deletion requests within 30 days. Some data (e.g. financial and tax records) may be retained where retention is required by law.

3. What data Contzilla receives from Meta

For transparency, the data we receive from Meta when you connect your account is:

  • The list of Facebook Pages you administer
  • Each Page's name, ID, and profile picture
  • Instagram Business account ID, username, and profile picture linked to those Pages
  • A long-lived access token that authorises publishing to the accounts you selected
